Bank of London strengthens Group Board with appointment of Noah Sharp as an Independent Non-Executive Director
Bank of London today announces the appointment of Noah Sharp as an Independent Non-Executive Director to the Group Board. Sharp brings more than two decades of experience spanning banking, payments, embedded finance, crypto and financial technology. He has held senior leadership positions across high-growth fintech, web3 and software businesses and major international financial institutions, including serving as Chief Executive Officer of Vodeno, the European Banking-as-a-Service platform acquired by UniCredit, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of BCB Group, and Chief Banking Officer at Paysafe through its IPO on the NYSE. He also served as a Non-Executive Director of NatWest Boxed, NatWest's FCA-regulated Banking-as-a-Service business, where he sat on the Board alongside NatWest leadership and helped oversee the delivery of digital banking, payments and lending solutions for business customers. Earlier in his career, Noah held senior fintech, transaction banking and corporate banking roles in the US, India and UK at Standard Chartered and Deutsche Bank, where he worked extensively with financial institutions, payments businesses and emerging technology companies.
His appointment further strengthens the Group Board as Bank of London continues to enhance its governance framework, operational capabilities and long-term growth strategy. The appointment reflects the Bank's commitment to maintaining a Board with a broad and complementary range of experience with Sharp’s deep knowledge across fintech, Banking-as-a-Service, payments infrastructure, blockchain and digital banking providing additional strategic insight as the Bank continues to modernise its platform and deliver for customers.
