What we offer

Embedded Banking

The Bank of London embedded banking proposition has been designed to work with clients who have a demand to provide regulated banking services to customers, without the demand to become a regulated bank.

Phase 1

Discovery and design

We align on your product goals, target users, and regulatory scope, then shape the MVP and success metrics.
Phase 2

Risk and readiness

We assess your control environment, scheme use, and reporting needs to confirm suitability and compliance pathway.
Phase 2

Operating model and configuration

We define roles and responsibilities (RACI model) and configure the product to your specifications.
Phase 2

Prototype fast fail

Integrate against our sandbox and APIs, spin up test accounts and payment flows, validate reconciliation and reporting. Fast iterations to de-risk launch.
Phase 2

Go Live

Launch to production with ongoing support.

How to use our payment infrastructure

Banking that serves business ambition
01

Use our rails directly

Move funds instantly between your Bank of London accounts at any time, with no external clearing required. Internal transfers settle immediately on our ledger, enabling real-time liquidity management across your account structure–ideal for treasury operations, reconciliation, and intra-company movements.

02

Sponsor your own sort code (Agency Banking)

As a Directly Connected Settling Participant (DCSP) in Faster Payments and Bacs, we can sponsor sort codes for regulated financial institutions. This allows you to operate with your own payment identity, full visibility into transaction flows, and direct settlement capability, while we handle scheme membership, compliance, and operational infrastructure.

Ideal for payment institutions, e-money firms, and banks looking to control their payment experience without the cost and complexity of becoming a direct scheme member.

03

Why it matters

Speed, control, and compliance. Whether you’re processing payments for your own operations or building payment products for your customers, our infrastructure gives you the foundation to move fast, stay compliant, and scale with confidence.

Peace of mind with FSCS protection

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) is the United Kingdom’s independent deposit guarantee scheme, and it protects eligible deposits with authorised banks, like ours.
