Technology Risk Manager

As Technology Risk Manager, you will be responsible for providing second line review, challenge and oversight of the Bank’s monitoring, measurement and management of Technology Risk in the second line Risk andCompliance team.  

Responsibilities

·   Provide review and challenge over the Bank’s approach to Technology Risk and Information Security, Cyber and Data ManagementRisk including:

o  Risk and Control Self Assessments

o  Key Risk Indicators

o  Issues and actions

o  Risk Taxonomy and Control Library

o  Risk policy management

o  Operational Resilience

o  Testing and ‘war games’ from an infosec and cyber perspective

o  Operational Risk Scenarios

o  Incidents/Operational Risk Events

o  Operational Risk losses and near misses

·     Conduct ‘deep dives’ into key related topics

·     Provide assistance regarding the implementation and operation of the Bank’s new Governance Risk and Compliance(GRC) tool

·     Support the Deputy Chief Risk Officer

·     Communicate with colleagues across the Bank

Requirements:

·     At least 5 years’ experience in an operational risk related role, including:

o  Working for a UK bank

o  Second line experience

o  Experience managing technology risks

o  Knowledge of the key tools and processes set out above

·     Strong interpersonal skills

·     Strong written and verbal communication skills

·     Self-starter, used to prioritising tasks in a fast-moving environment

·     A qualification in Operational Risk Management would be an advantage

Location

·      London (5 days per week in the office)

·      Travel to other locations may be required on occasion.
