Sales Director - Payments and Deposit Solutions

It provides services such as Deposit-as-a-Service (DaaS), Embedded Banking, real-time Clearing, Payments, and Settlement, as well as Commercial Banking tailored to businesses. Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets across payments and banking product lines
- Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives in target corporate and institutional clients
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles for enterprise payment solutions
- Manage and develop a high-performing sales managers and representatives
- Collaborate with Product, Technical, and Implementation teams to ensure successful solution delivery
- Generate detailed forecasts and pipeline reports for senior management
- Contribute to product strategy based on market insights and client feedback
What you bring
- 10+ years of B2B sales experience in financial services, with at least 5 years focused on payments and banking solutions
- Proven track record of closing enterprise deals worth £1M+ annually
- Deep understanding of UK payment systems, virtual account structures, and corporate banking landscape
- Experience selling to CFOs, Treasurers, and senior finance stakeholders
- Strong network within UK corporate and institutional sectors.
Technical knowledge
- In-depth understanding of payment rails (BACS, CHAPS, Faster Payments, SWIFT, etc.)
- Knowledge of virtual account management (VAM) solutions and benefits
- Understanding of corporate treasury operations and working capital management
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in payments and banking (FCA, PSD2, Consumer Duty. PSR)
- Experience with enterprise sales methodologies and CRM systems

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred

- Build and convert qualified opportunities worth £20M+ annually
- Develop and mentor team members to exceed individual targets
- Maintain 90%+ client retention rate
Work location
London (5 days per week in the office). Travel to other locations may be required on occasion.
