Risk Manager - Operations

We are currently looking for a Risk Manager - Operations, you will be responsible for providing second line review, challenge and oversight of the Bank’s monitoring, measurement and management of Enterprise and Operational Risk.
Responsibilities
· Collate risk reporting for the Executive Risk and Compliance and Board Risk Committees to ensure compliance with risk appetite
· Conduct ‘deep dives’ into key topics forOperational Risk
· Help develop, implement and then operate theBank’s new Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) tool
· Support the Deputy Chief Risk Officer
· Communicate with colleagues across the Bank
·Oversee the Bank’s risk methodologies from a second line perspective, utilising the GRC tool, including the operation of:
· Risk and Control Self Assessments
· Key Risk Indicators
· Issues and actions
· Risk Taxonomy and Control Library
· Risk policy management
· Operational Resilience
· Operational Risk Scenarios
· Incidents/Operational Risk Events
· Operational Risk losses and near misses
Requirements:
· At least 5 years’ experience in an operational risk related role, including:
· Working for a bank
· Second line experience
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Used to prioritising tasks in a fast-moving environment
· A qualification in Operational Risk Management would be an advantage
Location
· London (5 days per week in the office)
· Travel to other locations may be required on occasion.
