People Manager – Reward & Benefits

Bank of London is seeking a talented and knowledgeable People Manager – Reward & Benefits to join our dynamic People Team. In this key role, you’ll bring deep expertise in pay, benefits, and compensation legislation and best practice. You will work closely with our Head of People, collaborate across the wider People Team, and engage with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver impactful reward strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and support the administration of all aspects of reward, including pay, benefits, incentive plans, bonuses, and share options
  • Provide expert advice on all reward regulatory matters including the Remuneration Code and Capital Requirements Directive (CRD V)
  • Provide support for the preparation and drafting of papers for the Board Remuneration Committee
  • Support the Company Secretary with the Bank’s Senior Manager and Certification Regime (SMCR) including Senior Manager Function (SMF) applications, as well as the appointment of Material Risk Takers (MRTs) and Certified Persons (CP), where appropriate  
  • Conduct research, data analysis, and present benchmarking insights on salary and benefits trend
  • Monitor and evaluate existing policies and practices, recommending innovative improvements where appropriate
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in centres of expertise to design and implement effective business solutions
  • Share knowledge proactively with People Team colleagues to support continuous team development
  • Manage and support payroll administration processes as required
  • Lead and contribute to reward-related projects using strong project management skills
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Apply consultancy skills to deliver tailored reward solutions
  • Effectively manage multiple complex priorities and issues simultaneously
  • Leverage a broad understanding of reward practices, including salary review cycles, bonus and benefits design, and project delivery

Location

  • London (5 days per week in the office)  
  • Travel to other locations may be required on occasion.
