Commercial Associate

Bank of London are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Associate to join our dynamic commercial team. This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Build and maintain target client lists using internal tools and market intelligence.
- Conduct outreach to prospective clients via email, phone, and LinkedIn to initiate conversations and set up meetings.
- Research and profile potential clients to support strategic targeting.
Lead Qualification
- Engage with inbound and outbound leads to assess fit and interest.
- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and hand over to senior sales managers for further development.
Sales Support & Administration
- Assist senior sales managers with the preparation of proposals, pitch decks, and financial models.
- Coordinate the execution of NDAs and other legal documentation.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and support reporting needs.
Skills & Experience
- 2-4 years of experience in a sales, business development, or client-facing role in financial services or fintech.
- Knowledge of local (FPS, BACS, CHAPS) and international (SWIFT) payment products is advantageous
- Knowledge of banking products, i.e. safeguarding accounts, VIBANs, API solutions is advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools (e.g., Hubspot) and AI tolls / platforms driving BD.
- A self-starter with a collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn.
Location
- London (5 days per week in the office)
- Travel to other locations may be required on occasion.
